Hello everyone!
Our Spring Campout is officially on the calendar. This year, we will be visiting the Alabama Coushatta Indian Reservation. You are responsible for your own transportation, meals, and camping gear. Troop will be there on Saturday to provide lunch for everyone (typically hotdogs and nachos, with water) and you’ll need to feed yourself the remainder of the time.
Rough schedule:
Friday, March 20:
12PM – Earliest arrival time permitted
4-10PM – Camp setup / Family time
10PM – Lights out
Saturday, March 21:
8AM – Den time (check with den leader for your specific activities)
12PM – Lunch provided by Troop
3PM – Bike Ride
DARK (8ish PM) – Night hike that ends at campfire for fun and skits
Sunday, March 22:
8AM – Family time
10AM – Disembark and leave camp cleaner than how you found it. You can hang out afterwards to enjoy the grounds.
We have camp sites 1-18 in Section A at no cost to you.
NO PETS
NO GLASS CONTAINERS
You may bring your own firewood or purchase onsite.
Fires must be contained in fire rings.
