Come join us for one of Houston’s best kept secrets! Tonight we’ll observe (from a safe distance!) Mexican free-tailed bats that emerge nightly to stretch their wings and feed on area insects. Alisa Kline, a Texas Master Naturalist, will go into detail about the impact they make to our ecosystem and how so many bats can live under one of Houston’s busiest streets.

Be sure to bring your binoculars!

Meet at the Waugh Bridge Bat Colony Observation Deck (Allen Parkway at Waugh Drive).
